Sunday Assembly Reading

we are a secular community group that celebrates life and inspires its members to live better, help often, and wonder more. we meet at 10.45 am on the penultimate sunday of each month at public, reading, rg1 7sb. each event has a theme with a talk – maybe on science or history, social issues, health matters or practical life skills. we sing classic rock or pop songs, play games, listen to poetry and readings, share personal experiences, and join together in a moment of silent contemplation. lastly, and maybe most importantly, we socialise and make new friends over tea and cakes. community action - we are active in the local community, lending a hand to good causes or raising funds. our assemblies are an ideal place to promote what you or your organisation does for the community. social activities - we have get-togethers outside our sunday meetings for activities such as board games, country walks, badminton, dancing, theatre, or a pub quiz. an international community - sunday assem
