sundlaug coffee co. is a small, independent speciality coffee roastery. our roasting style is influenced by nordic coffee culture, typified by a focus on the highest quality beans and lighter roast profiles. we are inspired by the vast and rugged landscapes of iceland and the creativity of its people. almost every icelandic town has a "sundlaug" - a geothermally heated swimming pool - and the countryside is dotted with natural hot pots and lagoons warmed by volcanic activity. public bathing is deeply rooted in icelandic culture and provides a community focal point for social activity, wellbeing and relaxation. the sundlaug roastery is located on the picturesque welbeck estate in nottinghamshire, within a growing community of quality-focused food and drink producers, artists and makers. we roast coffee for some of the top speciality coffee shops around the uk and europe and we also sell our beans online.
