we provide technical design of solar programs, training, installation, and education. sunjuice solar was founded in 2006 to promote sunshine through consulting, teaching, designing, and installing solar passive techniques and active technologies including concentrating solar power, photovoltaic electricity generation, and solar heating of air and water. since late 2018, sunjuice has focused efforts on bringing resilient solar photovoltaic systems to the vulnerable populations in the central mountains of puerto rico. we provided training on solar pumping to communities with rural water systems; taught 30 women to design and install solar plus storage systems; and have conducted more than 15 training installations for local non-profit organizations. sunjuice founder and principal, alison mason is helping to launch an ambitious program (barrio electrico) for communities to finance and install thousands of resilient solar systems on their homes, with priority to the households that were
