Sunohc Sculptures

sunohc sculptures started in 2005 in the basement of sunoh (daniel) choe's home in denver, colorado when he was 15 years old. he picked up his aunt's dental tools, some super sculpey clay, and began accepting private commissions to sculpt miniature portraits for figure collectors who had come across his work on online forums. sunohc sculptures specializes in 1:6 scale (a popular "figure collecting" scale). these figures stand around 12" tall (30 cm). the actual head sculpt is only 2" (5 cm). in 2010, sunohc sculptures finally released their very own line of custom 1:6 scale figures. with the collaboration of 10 professional artists around the world including hot toys costume designer, ellis cheng, they were able to deliver a $820 collectible figure set with hand painted sculpts, original accessories, outfits, packaging, and certificates of authenticity. these figures were limited to 25 pieces worldwide and sold out within a week. in 2011, sunohc sculptures released another line of matr
