Sunray Dramatherapy

dramatherapy is a type of therapy which utilises the healing aspects of drama and other art forms to promote emotional well-being. dramatherapy approaches may include the use of role-play, movement, voice, creation / art and storytelling. working in this creative way creates a space in which thoughts, feelings and behaviours can be expressed and explored at a safe distance. the purpose of dramatherapy is to provide a non-judgemental safe environment and no skill or experience of acting is required. sunray dramatherapy offers freelance dramatherapy, facilitated by a hcpc registered member of the british association of dramatherapists. dramatherapy is available for groups and on an individual basis. client groups include, but are not limited to, adolescents with complex needs, people in recovery from addiction, people who identify as being on the autistic spectrum, people with eating disorders, adults with learning disabilities and people living with dementia.
