at the core of suns river technology lies the well proven distillation process. the chosen power source for this is solar. it has been selected for its ubiquity, cheapness and ease of use. all of this has been augmented with a number of equally simple and robust materials and processes resulting in the suns river solar still. it is completely scalable ranging from a simple installation providing clean water for a small village up to large scale applications for whole cities. it is simple to install & operate and does not require huge amounts of energy to produce ‘fresh water’. the suns river solar still has near zero carbon foot print. suns river uses highly innovative principles & processes to harness the power of the sun to distil a variety of inputs including but not limited to: seawater, river water, saline well water and waste water. the process is applicable to the coastal deserts of the middle east, western africa, the indian sub-continent, western australia and mexico.
