sunsofa is een band voortgekomen uit coverband deep assam en al sinds 2004 actief! in 2007 is de overstap gemaakt naar het schrijven van eigen werk. voor de naamsverandering is gekozen omdat de nieuwe naam beter aansluit bij hun eigen muziek. bandleden zijn sarah mathijs (zang), tom jaspers (gitaar), jeroen janssen (toetsen), gerzon kakisina (bas) en michel otten (drums). deze combinatie van muzikanten uit de regio sittard-geleen blijkt een gouden combinatie. het enthousiasme dat de bandleden uitstralen, is te proeven in hun muziek! momenteel werken zij aan hun debuutalbum, dat in april 2010 wordt verwacht!
