vuonna 1988 perustettu suomen franchising-yhdistys tarjoaa ajankohtaista tietoa franchisingista. yhdistyksen tehtävänä on palvella franchisingyrityksiä ja franchisingtoiminnasta kiinnostuneita tahoja. ylläpidämme ja kehitämme franchisingin eettisiä sääntöjä, joita jäsenkuntamme sitoutuu noudattamaan. näin pyrimme edistämään ja kehittämään hyvää franchisingtapaa suomessa. järjestämme seminaareja ja koulutustapahtumia ajankohtaisiin teemoihin liittyen. teemme yhteistyötä viranomaisten ja talouselämän eri tahojen kanssa, jotta franchisingtoiminta kehittyisi suotuisasti suomessa ja euroopassa. tuotamme ja välitämme hyödyllistä tietoa franchisingista. yhtenä tärkeimpänä tietolähteenä suomessa toimii yhdistyksen kustantama franchising suomessa -kirja. yhdistyksellä on noin sata ketjujäsentä. franchisingketjut toimivat mm. ravintola-, vähittäiskauppa-, hoivapalvelu- ja kiinteistöaloilla. suomessa on noin 5000 franchisingyrittäjää ja franchisingketjut työllistävät noin 100 000 henkilöä.
