superior hardwoods is a long-time local fairbanks lumber business that caters to all of alaska. we offer over 60 species of finished and rough cut lumber, exotic wood, and plywood. we have a variety of woodworking tools, unique burls, turning blanks, and live edge slabs. a wide selection of freud router bits & saw blades are available as well. we carry general finish finishes and stains along with other food safe finishes, butcher block oils, epoxies, and bona floor finishes. hinges, drawer slides, wooden plugs, dowels, and tenon cutters are just a few other miscellaneous woodworking items we keep in stock. our shop offers custom milling services. we have knives for milling over 60 profiles of trim and offer trim packages for throughout your home. if you have a custom trim you wish to have made, please bring us a sample and we can order the knives to mill any trim. however, there are a myriad of custom pieces we can mill. we will work with your needs and design plans to help you create
