to explore data effectively today, you need to be able to write sql. yet there are only millions of sql developers versus billions of spreadsheet users doing data analysis every day! so despite all these incredible advances in data tooling, the humble front line knowledge worker is more disconnected from the data than ever before. supersheets is a search and spreadsheet tool that sits on top of your data warehouse. first, we connect to your data warehouse or any postgres database. we can then list out your tables and let you tag them with plain-english, e.g. “marketing” or “stripe” and view what’s in these table right in our explore view, unlike other data catalogs. you can then analyze data in our spreadsheet, with formulas and pivot tables compiling to sql to run on the warehouse (coming soon). we also let you export to google sheets, letting users feed up-to-date data into their models. we know it’s not optimal but they’re doing it already, just manually! but what about bi tools?
