super sound was founded in 2014 by doken kanazawa in 2014 at honcho, nakano-ku, tokyo japan. in the 2014, animator doken kanazawa realized that he could improve on the amplified hollow-body asian traditional instruments of the day by using an innovative and rather simple solid-body electrified koto and niko(erhu). further, he realized that he could streamline the process of building them. in 2015 super sound introduced a prototype solid-body instrument that would eventually be called the 'electric-koto.' after three and a half years of extensive research and development, super sound has succeeded in developing electric koto,guzheng,niko(erhu) on a mass production type. with its revolutionary attempt of drastically evolved asian culture and simultaneously demonstrating the potential of asian instruments, super sound is hight anticipated of capture the attention of people around the world as the first company that provides variety and development of traditional culture as well as popular
