when edward k. weatherly’s skyrocketing success to become the “next einstein” came to a crashing end with schizophrenia, his sister, nicole m. weatherly, was inspired to create superstar x: a social multimedia arts and entertainment project for the superstar in all of us, to share stories that celebrate being human and de-stigmatize being different. currently in development, and at the centre of superstar x’s first multimedia family, is a film that reveals an insightful glimpse into the life and artwork of edward’s journey with schizophrenia. within the context of multimedia entertainment, the goal of superstar x is to share stories that promote meaningful connections and conversations about diverse social topics, helping to increase understanding and decrease stigma. note: please email nicole@superstarx.com for access code to view superstar x’s website (www.superstarx.com).
