support fryslân is een professionele vrijwilligersorganisatie voor maatjesprojecten. missie het ondersteunen van friese jongeren tussen de 12 en 27 jaar die moeite hebben met hun sociale ontwikkeling. voornaamste doel is het vergroten van hun sociale (zelf)redzaamheid en deelname aan de samenleving. support fryslân wil haar missie bereiken door deze groep jongeren te koppelen aan maatjes (vrijwilligers) die regelmatig met hen afspreken. visie iedereen een maatje! in de ogen van support fryslân heeft elke jongere recht op een maatje. iemand om activiteiten mee te ondernemen, ervaringen mee te delen en je vertrouwd bij te voelen. de meeste jongeren vinden zelf een maatje. helaas is dat niet voor iedereen weggelegd. sommige jongeren moeten daarbij worden geholpen. om mee te doen in de maatschappij en de eigen problemen op te lossen, is onder meer zelfvertrouwen nodig. zelfvertrouwen ontstaat als iemand zich gezien voelt, feedback krijgt, een zelfbeeld heeft, succes ervaart en ervaringen k
