support women & children in conflict (swcc) is a national non-governmental organization committed to improving the quality of life of women and children through capacity building, advocacy and material support. our program encompasses nutrition, hiv/aids awareness & prevention measures, basic education, protection (gender based violence (gbv)), peace building, water & sanitation, food security & livelihood (fsl), hygiene promotion and menstrual hygiene management. the organization was formed in juba, south sudan in april 2017 after realization of a number of problems faced by women and children especially the orphans and the abandoned children as a result of the civil war which erupted in south sudan since december 2013. this organization however is formed to address and sustain the need of women and children through donors and well-wishers support for women and children who got separated with their families including orphans who lost both parent as a result of the war.
