my name is bert luxing and i am the primary contributor of survive travel. there are two others, sam and aventuras, whom you can learn about at survivetravel.com/about this blog basically tracks me (bert) while i do the things on my bucket-list. as it turns out, while i am doing these things i gather lots of information which i figure will be useful for others, so i turn that information into posts for the world to read. the intention is that this information helps you to survive your travel (hence the name, survive travel). in return for this effort this blog makes me money. i give a little, i get a little (it’s how i figure the universe works), and i use that money to further fund my journey. the five main types of posts you will find on this website are: 1. accommodation and attraction reviews which include directions and costs. 2. free things to do in a certain place including short reviews and directions. 3. food, because i like trying different foods when i travel. 4. book posts.
