l’association swisstuba.ch a été créée en novembre 2018 à l’initiative de nicolas salmon, fabien wallerand, ross knight and phillip casperd. les 3 premiers sont arrivés à genève respectivement en 2014, 2015, 2016 en obtenant les postes suivants : professeur d’euphonium et tuba au conservatoire de musique de genève, professeur d’euphonium et tuba à la haute ecole de musique de genève, tuba solo à l’orchestre de la suisse romande. quant à phillip casperd, chanteur au sein du choeur de l’opéra de genève, il est une personnalité tubistique incontournable à genève, tellement sa passion pour le tuba est sans limite. il est bien plus qu’un amateur très éclairé et a une connaissance très étendue de l’univers du tuba. ce qui réunit avant tout ces quatre protagonistes dont les parcours professionnels sont tout aussi différents qu’ils sont complémentaires, c’est une franche amitié doublée d’une vision commune du tuba. en effet, à genève, à eux 4, ils font rayonner le tuba tant sur le plan péda
