we are a collective of tutors based in the university of edinburgh who provide crucial education support for syrian refugees from the ages of twelve to eighteen. as the scottish government pledged to resettle 2000 syrian refugees as part of the syrian vulnerable persons relocation scheme by 2020, many of these relocated teenagers endured unfathomable hardships before reaching the united kingdom, including education. stteps first and foremost seeks to mitigate these barriers. championing diversity, discourse and development, stteps strives to provide tailored educational programs based on the ever expanding network of students and their concerns. if you are a university of edinburgh student and are interested in becoming a tutor please don't hesitate in reaching out to us. we are always on the lookout for amazing teachers that could impact young lives.
