South Asian Student Association at Syracuse University

the south asian student association collectively embraces the cultures of bangladesh, bhutan, india, nepal, pakistan, and sri lanka to promote and celebrate the richness and diversity of south asia at syracuse university. sasa provides an interactive and safe environment for all students, both of south asian, and non-south asian backgrounds, to explore the vastness of south asia through events including but not limited to movies, music, dance, celebrations, socials, discussion panels, and general body meetings. sasa provides a space for the south asian diaspora and all students interested in south asian culture to convene and embrace one another as a community. our mission: to create a welcoming environment for south asian students and promote awareness of south asian culture on the syracuse university campus; provide social and educational activities for students, and to promote identity and unity among the south asian students on campus through social and cultural events.
