the prevention team is a non-profit agency leading the way in alcohol, tobacco and other drugs (atod) education and prevention services for essex county in northeastern new york. we work closely with various agencies, schools and businesses to support their efforts in making essex county a safe and supportive place for all our residents. working in such partnerships, we believe we will make a better tomorrow by the actions we take today! we communicate a clear message that emphasizes the importance of healthy development and continual learning in the four essential dimensions of life (physical, mental-emotional, social and spiritual) – for adults as well as youth.
