claudio marzano is a curator of contemporary art, design and music, currently employed as an art consultant at the canada council for the arts - art bank. he holds a bachelor’s degree in art history from mcgill university and a master’s degree in art gallery and museum studies from the university of manchester, for which he wrote a thesis exploring the fair use provision of art copyright law in the digital age. he was assistant curator / technical director for the 2007 montreal biennale, assistant curator for the urban play exhibition part of the 2008 experimenta design biennale in amsterdam and, most recently, co-curated the soundscapes remix project. in 2007 he served as a technical advisor of multimedia installations for the mois de la photo à montréal, and was a consultant in the selection of artists for the street art at tate modern / nissan qashqai challenge exhibition held in london. his own work in mixed media illustration has been featured in print and digital publicat
