hallo. detroit big f deal is a community funding platform for detroit originated and executed projects. projects are financed by you [yes...you]. each project is accompanied by rewards that are awarded to project financers. our rewards are provided by local detroit area businesses, in the form of discounts and coupons. all at once, you have the opportunity to fund exciting projects and visit unique detroit businesses. that's a pretty sweet deal. while raising money for projects is cool, we are most interested in empowering a community of people to coalesce around an idea. to this end a more descriptive definition of success is not necessarily how much is raised, but how many people contribute. this is an open space; we hope to incubate and share ideas, while we support the city...lets see what happens.
