communication crossing different languages is np-hard problem. visioning on a transparent information system, y&d has gathered a group of scholars in belmont under topic of machine translation, asked "why can't we ..." types of questions and "engaged in projects on automated chinese teaching, character recognition, multi-language editor and touch typing chinese. thus, y&d, "ask why and then do it", was a motto of this group all with sir names started either with a y or a d. after 20 years of search, the goal of y&d can be specified clearly on how to build a transparent private cloud system under a content management desk top application, c-grid, to serve life time users.
