yachtfinders global ltd was established in 1996 by managing director, gary erceg. following several very successful years in the marine brokering industry in new zealand, gary recognised the opportunity to export good pre-owned quality power and sailboats from the around the world to new zealand at a time when the nzd exchange rate proved very attractive to new zealanders. with a huge demand, a complete duplication of our new zealand system was set up firstly in the usa with reputable brokerages, brokers and sub-contractors (including surveyors, documentation specialists and skippers) and then further into asia, following the asian crisis. these relationships remain in place today. today, as nz’s oldest brokerage, yachtfinders-global occupies centrally located offices in auckland’s marine hub, westhaven. as a result of the expertise acquired, yachtfinders global has been awarded the exclusive new zealand dealerships for a comprehensive range of prestigious new boats from the world’s
