yadget is a mobile application and browser plugin for tagging products and places using twitter style and optionally leaving posts on them. you can tag products by adding ($) before their names .. and tag places by adding (!) before their names. you can optionally leave your posts and other online content on the barcodes and map locations of those tagged products/places. it’s like creating sticky notes containing your posts and then attaching such notes to products and places. yadget users can find posts related to any product or place by scanning its barcode, exploring the map, or searching by tag name. they can subscribe to any product or place to receive notifications whenever others tag or leave posts on them. using yadget, users can share thoughts about products and places in an organized way using tags. they get more exposure because they can leave their posts on barcodes and map locations for everyone to find not only their friends and followers.
