Yaf'd-Young Architects Forum Dubai

yaf'd is an informal initiative for young, enthusiastic architects and non-architects who are interested in musing over the architectural progression of contemporary dubai. our aim is to develop a culture of collaborative thinking and learning among people who are inspired by the urban narratives of dubai. we aspire to reach this aim by indulging in conversations about the impact of culture, technology, society and economy in the design of cities. we hope to create a climate of interdisciplinary open-source discourse within the design fields of architecture, interior design, landscape design, urban design and city planning in the uae region. first of its kind, this group was founded on meetup.com in 2014. it is an informal initiative and is for those enthusiast who love to think critically, share knowledge, are receptive to learning and are truly passionate about architecture and its impact on the urban fabric of dubai.
