中国教师研修网（www.teacherclub.com.cn）由全国教师教育学会主办，在教育部十五规划重点课题“基于现代信息技术环境下的校本研修的理论与实践”的探索中应运而生，为全国中小学教师搭建研训一体的专业发展平台，实现教师个人、学校、区域教学组织的知识管理，创建全员参与、团队合作、资源共建、可持续发展的网上学习共同体。2007年，中国教师研修网成为教育部推荐的中小学教师培训优秀网站。2008年，成为教育部教育干部远程网络培训基地。承担多项国家级、地方远程培训项目，与各地合作伙伴一起搭建多个区域级教师网上学习社区。研修网（www.yanxiu.com）作为面向教师个体的社区网站已经积累了逾300万实名教师用户，逾500万ugc及逾万在线学习组织 教育部教师工作司已于2013年1月18日在北京召开了《教师网络研修社区建设试点项目》(http://yxsq.yanxiu.com/)启动大会，项目办公室已下发了项目实施方案，用两年时间，在全国建设一批以区县或地市为单位的示范性教师网络研修社区。
