every act of design, regardless of scale, is the projection of a conceptual construction in the physical space. yas is called upon to design such products, following the analytical understanding of any given question where even the question itself often needs to be reformulated, as the context through which its answer will be given is forever changing. in short, for yas, the design process is about understanding the dynamics in any system as well as producing material practices that shift the system towards a new, desirable equilibrium. such conceptual projections in space know no boundaries; instead they act as an open ended, dynamic ecology of possibilities that are constantly changing and evolving.
