1975 yılında eczacı erol toksöz tarafından yüzde yüz yerli sermayeyle ankara’da bir aile şirketi olarak hayata geçirilen galenos ecza deposu, 1992 yılında erol toksöz’ün kardeşi akif toksöz tarafından kurulan türkiye’nin ilk ithal ilaç deposu yaset’in de aileye katılmasıyla sektördeki bilinirliğini arttırdı. 2009 yılında yine akif toksöz tarafından kurulan, türkiye’nin gurur markası tadelle, sarelle, sagra ürünlerinin distribütörlüğünü üstlenen starmed bir önceki yıla göre %80’lik büyüme oranıyla bugün ülkemizde 8.000 noktada hizmet vermektedir. 200 kişilik kadrosuyla sağlık sektöründe 40 yıldır var olan galenos ankara & yaset, 900’ün üzerinde eczane , 50’den fazla özel hastane ve türkiye’deki tüm devlet ve üniversite hastaneleri ile iş birliğinde bulunmaktadır.
