yabi or rhino foundation of indonesia is a nonprofit organization focused on saving sumatran and javan rhino and their natural habitat. sumatran rhino is the only surviving species of genus dicerorhinus and javan rhino is one of five extant species of genus rhinoceros. each population of sumatran and javan rhino are currently lower than 80 individuals, both are on the brink of extinction and in the iucn red list of critically endangered species. the rhino foundation of indonesia is working in three national parks; the ujung kulon national park, the bukit barisan selatan national park, and the way kambas national park.
