programs the ypm music school offers the following 2 programs. basic education program (6 to 8 years) pre-conservatoy program (3 to 4 years) instrument majors the instrumental major builds the core of a student's education at the ypm music school and determines all other aspects throughout his/her studies at the ypm music school. whereas academic subjects are taught in classes, instrument lessons are always held one-on-one (private). our students can choose from the following instrument majors: piano violin guitar flute voice harp - new starting 2015-2016! all of the above instrument majors are offered for both the basic education program as well as for the pre-conservatory program. every instrumental major is accompanied by academic & ensemble classes serving to support the student's studies and to strengthen, to broaden and to deepen his/her musical experience. academic & ensemble classes academic and ensemble classes vary according to the student's instrument major and the prog
