pada tanggal 14 februari 2011, lahirlah sebuah gerakan inisiatif yang disebut program peduli gereja katolik yang berkarya membantu pembangunan fisik gereja-gereja katolik di wilayah terpencil di indonesia melalui media sosial digital. gerakan yang diprakarsai oleh seorang muda katolik ini pada akhirnya menggerakkan banyak sekali orang untuk berpartisipasi dan bersolider secara online atas dasar persaudaraan dan kepercayaan. kegiatan fundraising yang kala itu dimulai melalui jejaring sosial facebook semakin berkembang dan meluas. lahirnya yayasan vinea dei tepat pada tanggal 15 agustus 2017 merupakan tindak lanjut dari program peduli gereja katolik yang digerakkan oleh banyak orang muda yang menunjukkan optimisme dan harapan akan gereja orang muda yang mengutamakan pemberian diri dan mampu melihat kemajuan teknologi sebagai sarana tuhan menunjukkan belas kasihnya bagi semua orang. kaum muda yang menggunakan media teknologi secara kreatif seturut nilai-nilai injil diharapkan menjadi sum
