ybor city records®, like most good things, was born out of necessity and by accident. a group of bay area professionals & musicians paired their expertise, networks, experience, and man-power to help promote a few of their favorite regional acts. through months of graphic design, small loans, and networking our acts into better gigs, came the realization that we were behaving like a scrappy little record label. so, we raised a flag where we first traded musical favors, and opened our doors to other acts. since then, we've spent our time and expertise supporting really exceptional acts develop their craft, build a product, and get them to their next step–– onto a larger stage, a bigger label, or just the next stop on their journey.
