youth care support services pty ltd (ycss) is a licensed human services organisation providing specialist residential care services to children and young people aged twelve to seventeen (12-17) with high to complex support needs. based in south east queensland ycss provides a stable environment for children and young people to ensure their care needs are met whilst in residential accommodation through to a young person transitioning from care. our commitement is to provide children and young people who are in the care of the department of communities (child safety services) with a home based environment within a residential setting. each young person is provided with a team of dedicated and professional residential support workers who provide a range of support services through ycss’s professional practice framework. as part of this framework, a care management plan is developed for each child and young person to ensure that their specific needs are met.
