spoonful apparel creates fun, comforable apparel with inspiring messages, and donates 50% of our profits to non-profit organizations working to end childhood hunger in the united states. spoonful also creates corporate and event-based apparel with the same 50% giveback, allowing our corporate and event partners to achieve their social responsibility goals. spoonful apparel's founder, susan elwer, grew up in a single parent household in st. paul, mn that relied on welfare for food, housing, and healthcare. in 2015, she had a vision to create an new apparel brand with inspiring messages that would spark a new conversation. she had an idea, but she hadn't found her purpose. in 2016, susan learned about a 4 year-old boy in her pre-school class who'd gone the first 3 months of the year without lunch. in that moment, susan recognized an opportunity to be part of the solution - and ultimately found the purpose behind her apparel brand. since launching in august 2017, spoonful apparel
