since 1884, ywca of the university of illinois has served the citizens and students of champaign-urbana. though our programs have changed throughout the last century, we’ve always fought for a better, more equitable society. our commitment to our communities is this: we will get up and do the work until injustice is rooted out, until institutions are transformed, until the world sees women, girls, and people of color the way we do— equal, powerful, an unstoppable.
