Byram's Lobster House

byram's lobster house was established in 1942 by lou byram. mr. byram had previously owned the paddock restaurant at the same location but changed the name and menu when the virginia state fair moved from its location on the boulevard, where the diamond is now, to its location on laburnum avenue. in 1968 he sold the restaurant to george spanos who added many greek items to the menu. in 1992 the twin brothers gus and paul nikiforos bought the restaurant. jeff and corina kelso bought byram's lobster house in june of 2011. after a major remodeling of the dining rooms and updating of the kitchen, they re-opened byram's with a new menu emphasizing lobster, seafood, and northern italian cuisine.
