as a sectarian organization, jewish family & children’s services’ (jf&cs) primary constituency is the jewish community, although its services are available to the general community. without discrimination and upon request, service is offered to individuals, couples, families and groups whose needs fall within identified agency parameters and resources. jf&cs serves clients residing within the greater st. louis metropolitan area, which also includes the southern illinois region. all services are offered regardless of the ability to pay a fee and based upon sliding fee scales that connect to family income and other extenuating financial circumstances. specfic services to older adults include: the in-home services/homemaker program which provides sliding fee scale homemaker services to older adults, transition strategies, which provides assessment and consultation to older adults and their caregivers seeking information on eldercare, the community chaplaincy program which provides jewish
