・our description and history the predecessor of japan furniture industry development association (jfa) was established in 1957 as the japan export furniture manufacturer's association (incorporated in 1975) and federation of japan furniture manufacturers associations (incorporated in 1966). the two organizations have merged together in 2010 and have become only one nationwide association covering wood furniture industry in japan. our aim is to become an organization that can contirbute to society through the development furniture industry. ・our main mission 1. trade promotion operations 2. ifft/ lifestyle living (exhibition organized by jfa in cooperation with messe frankfurt) 3. external economic and technical cooperation projects 4. international interchange projects 5. research and public information 6. others ・our philosophy through the development of japanese furniture industry, jfa contributes for the enhancement of living environment, simultaneously supporting advancement of soc
