founded in july, 2014, the qianhai institute for innovative research (qiir) is a nonprofit civilian think tank based in qianhai, shenzhen. our mission is to conduct independent and high-quality research, based on which to provide innovative and practical recommendations that advance three main goals: 1.provide intellectual support to public policy making and influence decision-makers; 2.serve private sector with consulting ideas and solutions; 3.generalize and share the experiences and lessons of opening-up and reform model of qianhai to other regions. we cherish the ambition of becoming a world-class professional and influential think tank by engaging and collaborating with decision-makers in government, business, and civil society with innovative research.
