the journal of akdeniz university's faculty of communication (henceforth "the journal") is an academic, peer-reviewed journal in which the studies in the field of communication studies are published. the journal is published by akdeniz university's faculty of communication since 2003, as a periodical which focuses on the interdisciplinary characteristic of the communication studies, acknowledges that articles with various scopes and orientations are meritorious, and undertakes as an initial duty to contribute to the literature in the field of communication studies both in turkey and the world. it is indexed by ebscohost, researchbib, scilit, sobiad, erih plus, miar and ulakbim sbvt. it’s published semiannually as an e-journal in june and december every year, and languages are turkish and english. it publishes research and conceptual articles, book reviews, academic evaluations, translations, and suchlike. it is free of publication fee.
