the bc alliance for arts + culture is british columbia's foremost arts information aggregator and a resource to the arts, cultural, and heritage community. since 1986 we have advocated for our sector by monitoring public policy, analyzing issues, providing services to our members, and representing the interests of artists and cultural workers. as a leading non-partisan voice on behalf of our province's creative sector, we work towards the development of sustainable and comprehensive cultural policies to support a civil society and support our membership to effectively participate in the advocacy process. we support and conduct research on matters affecting our sector and provide practical resources and tools to help build capacity. our work includes the production of events and collaboration on projects that provide opportunities for networking, professional development, and celebration within our sector. we imagine a society that places the highest value on arts, culture and heritage
