although the success of a marvellous event depends largely on the quality of the project shown, it also depends on the location where it will be presented. no doubt you will have heard stories (which have only happened to others, of course!) of delayed set up of an operation or crews being forced to work for 5 or 6 hours more than originally scheduled to allow doors to open to the public as planned? this is mostly due to inefficiency or lack of a full and proper recce. a thorough location check is the basis of all successful projects, helping to define the framework within which an event shall be held and is the main key to a smooth running event.
