b&m fine art studios mission is to create an environment that supports the production, discussion and distribution of art while honoring and nurturing the creative process of artists. the founders/ directors, renee bareno and ryan mccarthy, are two visual artists that met when they began co-teaching together in 2009 at a private school dedicated to serving students with special needs and learning differences. in addition to teaching and seeing the growth in their student’s creative process, renee and ryan are also practicing artists and strive to keep their individual artistic and creative processes alive and active. b&m seeks out emerging and mid-career artists who are looking for opportunities to show their artwork. b&m fine art studios also promotes cultural opportunities for the community to further engage in the arts.the three main components of b&m fine art studios are studio, gallery and arts education center.
