hi, my name is ваня (vanya) and i am a recruiter. i have been helping companies hire people for over a decade now. i guess i specialize in tech recruiting since i have been working with tech companies for most of my career. that doesn’t mean i don’t like to hire for other industries, on the contrary, i love diversity and i dream about getting a request from a retail company or an engineering firm, or a yoga studio. that dream doesn’t come true very often, though. sigh. i sometimes think i am destined to talk to nerds for the rest of my life. but i like it! my home base is in beautiful british columbia, canada and i spent a few months a year in eastern europe, which is where i am originally from. i also have a few hobbies that take me to places like argentina, hawaii and who knows where else, so i could say i am a nomad. i am currently working with two very promising companies in the metro vancouver area. new hippo health is a start-up on a mission to transform the canadian healthcare s
