de break stars is de basketbalvereniging van baarn. we zijn opgericht in 1995. al in 1994 zijn we met basketbal instuiven begonnen en daaruit is na enige tijd een vereniging ontstaan. een aantal van die pioniers waren oud leden van de vorige basketbal vereniging in baarn: top stars. break stars is een club, die gezelligheid hoog in het vaandel heeft staan. we vinden het belangrijk dat iedereen elkaar zoveel mogelijk kent. we proberen het onderling contact te stimuleren door bijvoorbeeld onze trainingen op één avond te concentreren. uiteraard proberen we ook een zo hoog mogelijk niveau basketbal te spelen, maar spelers van ieder niveau, zowel recreatief als competitiespelend zijn bij ons van harte welkom. van alle leden wordt verwacht dat zij een handje helpen bij de organisatie, bijvoorbeeld door aan de scoretafel te zitten of trainer/coach te worden. met zijn allen maken we er een goed draaiende en gezellige club van. graag, tot ziens.
