ba1 is a specialist security design and engineering firm founded in march of 2016 to overcome common issues with installation quality and functionality that result from performance based design. the team have spent the last decade working on the design, procurement, and installation in operation of some of the world’s most prestigious venues. our approach to design is different to other consultants, we like to call this reference based design. this approach goes further than typical design schematics and drawings allowing our team of specialists to collaborate and coordinate requirements to a level of detail most consultants avoid. during early design this approach allows us to set out clearly the impact individual systems and devices will have on the building. in later design stages this detail allows for component specific refinement ensuring performance is achieved without compromising the architectural language of a space. our vision is simple, better accuracy and analysis leads
