baba productions was founded as a sheet music company by bob and peter barratt in 1998 to publish choral music that is generally 'in the lighter style'. the company is based in northallerton, north yorkshire, uk. the baba productions music catalogue includes original songs by individual songwriters and arrangements it has made of well known titles after obtaining permission from the copyright holders. also included in its music catalogue are songs which have been specially written for performance with stories from the two main series of picture books it publishes for children in the 4-8 age group about the 'adventures of cyril the squirrel' and the 'adventures of dillon dinosaur'. the stories are published as paper backed picture books that are of a5 size for easy handling by children. the company also markets colouring books, 't' shirts, laminated images of the main characters from each series, musical plays and sheet music, all of which are related to the two series of stories and th
