Babb Family Association

the babb family association (bfa) is a 501(c)3 non-profit with 500 followers. our organization's focus is to help those with babb surnames reconnect. under our umbrella we manage two important ongoing projects: dna project: we are currently working on a dna project in an attempt to prove our lineages back to england and willings participants should come to the front of the line. babb preservation fund: the mission of the bpf is to preseve landmarks associated with the babb surname. our first project is the rescue/restoration of the seth babb log home in greeneville, tn. we are negotiating to have the cabin relocated to a plot of land adjacent to a city museum. we hope to complete the work by the end of 2010. the second project is the scanning of the jean sargent papers and we are hoping to have it complete by the end of 2011. amongst others jean wrote the babb families of america book.
