babouche golf is all about high quality golf head covers, towels and other accessories. my aim is to put colour back into your golf game, one head cover or towel at a time. in late 2017 i was on holiday in marrakech. whilst i was there i was amazed by the quality of and range of artisan skills on display in the medina. i was really impressed by the beautiful leather slippers that nearly every shop sells. they are called babouche in moroccan arabic. an old friend of mine who lives in marrakech gave me and my girls a tour of the medina and introduced me to a lovely guy called khalid, who makes leather handbags for my friend’s business, and it got me thinking about a new business idea. i was sat by the pool thinking about what i had seen and i realised that with all the leatherwork on display, i hadn’t seen any head covers – and yet marrakech has about 10 golf courses and is rapidly becoming a must play golf destination. so, i contacted khalid and asked him to make me some head covers
