babusar valley is a small beautiful village in district diamer gilgit baltistan, pakistan the word babusar came from the compounding of words babu ( babu was a government official stationed in babusar bungalow at the time of colonialism) and sar ( means lake in shina language.) mr babu was stationed in babusar valley, a big lake (sar) in babusar valley, he was a political agent of colonial rulers and governed this area. people used to call it babu sar. babusar is full of breathtaking lakes, forests, hills and scenic views. many historical buildings still exist in babusar bangalow old bazar area. babusar valley remains empty and full of snow for almost 8 months from october to may. people of this valley used to live in babusar valley during the summer season and in winter, it is impossible to live in babusar valley
